Sustainability is a fundamental pillar of the Annelise brand. We recognise the urgent need for change within the fashion industry, and we are committed to being part of the solution. From sourcing materials responsibly, to reducing waste in our production process, we strive to lead by example and inspire positive change.

Fabrication:  Our garments are made from a combination of three key fabrications; CUPRO, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ and TENCEL™ 

CUPRO, a regenerated cellulose fabric, has several benefits, including its silky feel, breathability, and ability to drape well. It’s also known for its moisture-wicking properties, making it comfortable to wear in various climates. Additionally, Cupro is lauded for its eco-friendliness, as it’s derived from cotton linter, a byproduct of the cotton industry, making it a sustainable choice for fashion. 

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ is a wood-based fibre sourced from forests that are regenerated and managed with the aim of protecting ancient and endangered trees

TENCEL™  is also derived from wood which is sourced from controlled or certified origins meeting FSC® and PEFC standards. This also boasts a beautiful silky feel, breathability, and ability to drape well. It also comprises moisture-wicking properties, making it comfortable to wear in various climates.

Labels & swing tags:  Even the small details matter – our labels are made from recycled polyester and our swing tags are recycled paper.

Delivery and Slow Fashion:  At Annelise Designs we are not fast fashion and we aim to minimise our impact on the planet by our choice of fabrications, manufacturing and transportation.

For this reason, we have one central warehouse from where your orders will be dispatched directly to customers and will not be delivered to holding ports.  We do not offer next day delivery because of the negative impact on the planet.
