Founded by Annelise Newman who has over 30 years of expertise, dedicated to designing and creating, both in her hometown in Australia and in London where she now resides. She is joined by good friend, Lyndal Wilson, who brings 40 years experience in the sleepwear and loungewear space to the partnership. They share a passion and love of all things sleep and lounge.
Annelise is a self-confessed bowerbird with a penchant for antique and foraged textiles, while crafting new designs and aesthetics. She is truly passionate about sleepwear as a luxurious and personal indulgence.
Brimming with vibrant creative energy, Annelise is a collector, finding inspiration in art, nature and vintage. A maximalist by nature and style, her passion for designing sleepwear is evident in every piece she creates, each offering a window into her personal aesthetic. She harmoniously blends her inspirations, creating rich decorative landscapes that reflect her unique and elaborate style.
Lyndal is a seasoned expert, amassing 40 years of expertise in the sleepwear industry. Spanning from the days of brunch coats and nylon negligees to the contemporary fusion of sleepwear and lounge dressing we know today, Lyndal has been at the forefront of the evolution. Her pioneering spirit has not only shaped the landscape of sleepwear in Australia, but also revolutionised attitudes towards sustainability within the sleep and lounge environment.
Lyndal’s journey in the industry has been marked by a relentless pursuit of sustainability and mutually beneficial partnerships with her supplier base, from sourcing locally in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia to establishing ethical production practices across Asia. Her commitment to environmental stewardship is not just a professional ethos, but a deeply personal conviction, reflecting her principled role as a mother, wife and friend.
